We are not recommending any of the downloads available on this page - just making them available. Netscape, Internet Explorer and Opera browsers, and many useful utilities, are on the cover CDs from many of the PC / Mac / Internet magazines, which can easily be bought / borrowed and may be easier than downloading them. If you are using Netscape or Internet Explorer earlier than version 4.x, it is worth updating it - within the limitations of your computer, e.g. do not install Internet Explorer 5 on a 486-based computer - as many websites will not have their full functionality on older browsers.
